The Miracle Hill Spa Association (MHSA) is proud to announce Wellness Weekend, taking place October 16-18 in the Spa Zone of Desert Hot Springs. The immersive, educational and one-of-a-kind event will take place at 14 member spas, including Miracle Manor, Azure Palm Hot Spring Resort, The Spring and Two Bunch Palms, to name a few.
Guests will enjoy three days of mindful movement, hands-on learning and mineral spring soaking with the opportunity to take part in 80 activities spanning eight categories: educational workshops, yoga and fitness sessions, guided meditation, spa treatments, dining experiences, special events and discounted resort day passes. For a fully immersive experience, guests are encouraged to stay at one of the participating properties as special room rates will also be offered.
While the MHSA’s popular Spa Tour centers on visiting the area’s many boutique resorts, Wellness Weekend shifts the focus to participatory activities at each location, encouraging self-care and deeper engagement.
“We are delighted to bring the valley and visitors together for a weekend on Miracle Hill to learn, connect, soak and celebrate what makes this corner of the desert unique and genuinely restorative,” says event organizer Rayce Jonsrud.
Desert Health is proud to support the event with presentations from many of our contributors, including: “Reversing Chronic Disease through Lifestyle Medicine” with Joseph Scherger, MD; “Grounded in Mindful Living and Longevity” with Transformational Wellness Coach Christy Curtis; “Proactive Cardiac Health” with Hessam Mahdavi, MD; “Post-menopausal Skin: What Every Woman Needs to Know” with Alchemist Brook Dougherty, and many more.
Tickets go on sale August 1 and range from $49 to $149. Space is limited and the weekend is expected to sell out, so interested attendees are encouraged to sign up for the newsletter at www.miraclehillspas.com for priority access.
