This magical time of year brings us together to share smiles and good cheer. We celebrate family near and far, friends old and new, and all the festivities our extraordinary desert community has to offer.

There is also much bringing us together in the name of good health as you’ll read in this edition. Living long and living well are top of mind for many and we are proud to share the latest.

In this issue, we are introduced to the newly launched Vitality Zone bringing businesses together to offer action and education; new groups providing men a trusting space to open up and share; opportunities to pay it forward by giving back; a clinic expanding access to naturopathic medicine and a Blue Zones Project update on local activation throughout Riverside County.

We are also reminded of the wisdom of years including pioneering physician Bernie Siegel, MD, who at 92, will make guest appearances in a new complimentary cancer support group paying homage to his work.

As always, we share many tips to help you through the holidays including ancient sutras for modern stress, embracing fears, healthier holiday treats and “toasts” and why love and kindness matter now and throughout the year.

Let’s take care of ourselves and each other as we reflect on a year well lived and prepare for the new
year ahead.

Wishing you much health and happiness ~
