The value of any community is the people. The Women Leaders Forum of the Coachella Valley (WLF) brings professional women from all backgrounds together around a common goal: women’s empowerment and investing in the next generation of leaders. Whether you’re a longtime member or a newcomer, you’ll find an empowering, welcoming and supportive group committed to making an impact.

For the 2026-27 season, WLF President Vikki Dorsey has defined the year’s theme as “Roots and Reach,” which celebrates the strength of the relationships and the legacy WLF has built over the past twenty-five years. The overall objective is to create new opportunities to expand our reach, welcome new voices and deepen the organization’s impact throughout the Coachella Valley.

The monthly Let’s Interact series is the pulse of the season. If you’ve experienced networking burnout, here’s why you should consider WLF: this isn’t a stiff mixer where you wonder if you belong; it’s a room filled with professional, like-minded women who want to connect with you, support you and see you succeed. What begins with an exchanged business card can grow into a lasting friendship, collaboration or partnership.

The WLF charter for the 2026–27 season is clear: deliver curated, engaging and informative events that bring women together throughout the year:

September–April: Let’s Interact! Held the first Thursday of the month, these engaging events feature speakers and topics that create shifts in women’s lives.

January: Attend the second annual Business Showcase at Classic Club in Palm Desert, spotlighting WLF women-owned business members. Submit your business membership application to reserve your spot.

May: Celebrate extraordinary community leaders at WLF’s 14th annual Women Who Rule fundraising awards luncheon.

Gatherings are both festive and informative.
