Join the 14th Annual Paint El Paseo Pink on Saturday, October 10, this year as a virtual walk for breast cancer awareness, benefiting the cancer care needs of local valley residents. People can choose to walk in their own community, or in public parks and surrounding areas, individually or as teams. Using social media, they can post check-ins, images, live feeds and hashtags about their participation to further raise awareness and create community engagement in support of the event.

This year gated communities and HOA’s are invited to be involved by engaging residents in their neighborhoods to walk – while practicing social distancing and wearing face masks. Those walking as a team can designate an official team name and have the opportunity for fun competition.

Neighborhood and gate pink ribbon signage is available to communities and HOA’s participating. Pink ribbon lawn signs can be written on, noting if they are walking in honor of someone, a survivor, or other message – available for purchase in an effort to further raise funds. For those not able to participate but wanting to make a donation, they can donate to teams formed for the walk, or by visiting www.desertcancerfoundation.org.
